population seemed to be doing very good but only 1 frog was vouchered. larger frogs were common along rivers edge and in springfed pools up to about 40 feet away. small juveniles (about the size of a dime) were abundant on the gravel bars on the edge of and in the river. a few would jump with each step taken along the edge of the water in some areas
