Notes:
Found burrowed in a flower pot while transplanting flowers, I gently tucked this little guy back into to the (flower) bed after catching these photos. This little chonker is about 3.5" in length, and measures almost as wide when defensively inflated. I repaired the porch light above the frog-shaped pot he calls home, and on the first night, it was swarming with insects. On the second night, I found my bumpy neighbor sitting outside the pot, and not a bug in sight. The toad appeared well-fed, leading me to believe all the insects unlucky enough to collide with the light and fall to the ground were immediately gobbled up by this voracious predator, although I was not fortunate enough to witness this behavior myself.
