Notes:
This species was observed at the pond at Northstar park in Davis. What assisted in the identification of this species was its geographic location and its physical characteristics. R. draytonii occurs in the Central Valley, Sierra Nevada foothills, Mendocino county, and South on the coast. The climate in Davis resembles a Central Valley Meditterranean climate which makes it possible for draytonii to occur in Davis. The large ear tympanums, black blotches on its back, and the striping on the legs, and R. draytonii eyes are smaller than R. aurora.
