Notes:
This night adder was at the Dept of Transportation and hiding in a pipe. I couldn't see it at first but they were able to get me a hosepipe to flush it out. After a few minutes of gently using water, it came out. It seemed calm at first but was was rather aggressive. After a few minutes, I was able to get it into my capture box. I spoke with a lot of staff and later learned that someone had thrown Jeyes fluid on the snake or into that pipe yesterday. No wonder he was aggravated. Looks like his lungs are a bit swollen. We soaked him in water to get any remnants off and he's in his own box for observation. Hope to release him after a few days of observation.
