This feisty water snake was found ~10-15’ from sound side waters. The snake was approximately 2.5’-3’ long, and had a previously injured, yet healed, tail. The tail appears shortened in length and is no longer straight. The snake was alert and attempted to flee before the pictures, showing that the tail injury had not hindered its locomotion.
