Called to Copperhead in back yard. Upona arrival, homeowner had placed a bucket over the snake..Captured snake and placed in transport container. Physical exam revealed a 25 inch, 12.3 ounce Copperhead, eyes clear, followed movement with each eye, no signs of pre-shed. No signs of injury or illness, good range of motion throughout entire length of body. Transported to protected area and released without incident.
