Called to report of snake on front pillar of house in bird's nest. Upon arrival found a Rat Snake in described location. Captured snake and placed in transport container. Physical exam revealed a 7.3 ounces, 41 inches Rat Snake. Eyes clear, followed movement with each eye. No signs of injury or illness. Abdomen distended from recent meal. Good range of motion throughout entire length of body. Transported to protected area and released without incident.
