Notes:
found under a coverboard. Had some sort of blistering/fungal infection on its belly scales. Unlikely that it is snake fungal disease and more likely a result of brumation or shed issues, but it was still very unusual. All individuals who touched this snake, washed their hands afterwards with hand sanitizer. Santa Susana Field Laboratory (Restricted Access). Observed while conducting a field survey with the Southwestern Herpetologist Society.
