No rain and area was very dry. Crossing a small path at around 7-8pm on it's way up a hilly region far away from the nearest pond.
Within a week later i came a cross a speciemen when it was raining hard, estimating about 300m from where i found the pictured one, same size, most likely from the same clutch.
This spiecies is new to the area
