Turned a rock and it ran into the water. It swam a ways. It was easy to scoop up though. Guessing elevation was about 4000-4500 ft. Mostly thornscrub and dwarf mesquite, but also a few Mexican blue oaks.

Brought lizard home to i.d. it. New locality. Didn't have a blue tail, nor was the tail very orangish like canyon spotted. Habitat was right for Sonoran spotted.
